Contact Contemporary Music (Jerry Pergolesi, Artistic Director) presents INTERsection: a festival of contemporary music. SAXOPALOOZA! at the Music Gallery will be featuring the University of Toronto’s Saxophone Ensemble, conducted by Gregory Oh, in a programme of Canadian music (Korndorf, Lemay, and Fung) as well as American icons (Cage and Reich), and the ever popular Dutch composer Jacob TV’s GRAB IT! for saxophone orchestra.“The Shaman Speaks” by Fung (2009/2012) will be performed.
