NewMusic USA Grant for 'Living in the In Between' Song Cycle
Proud to announce that my collaboration with National Sawdust, soprano Andrea Núñez, and librettist Royce Vavrek has received a NewMusicUSA Organization Fund award! 🎉 This award will support the creation and residency of our song cycle, Living in the “In Between.” The work will explore what it means to live "in-between" ethnicities and cultures, highlighting the experiences of myself and Núñez.
New Music USA’s Organization Fund is for outstanding organizations which work regularly with, and support the development of, music creators and artists and offer a crucial resource to their community. Kudos to all of the awardees!
